Yesterday I heard my 7 year old son ask my wife "What's a period?" Before she could reply, my 4 year old daughter replied "It's something only girls have so you don't need to know!"
I was glad to have avoided the awkward conversation with my son, but disturbed to find out that my 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER knew that much about menstrual cycles.
