For 40 exhausting minutes, Wayne Goldsberry battled a buck with his bare
hands in his daughter’s bedroom.

Holy Crap, have you ever seen the size of a deers neck during rut? (It is rut season right now)
They get huge, not to mention they can twist them all the way around to look directly behind them. I would have bet on the deer.
