Why am I in trouble?

I was driving down I-55 when I overheard Shayne tell Elizabeth "you cant take Karate your too sensitive!" Elizabeth responded with "I am not sensitive!" and punched Shayne in the face. So, to diffuse the situation I tell Elizabeth "Don't hit your brother in the head. He may need it for thinking one day!" So, how is it I ended up in trouble with my wife?
